Statement
The Curly Woof Zine–Meet the Puppies is an artist's book created in memory of my dog and inspired by the affection, companionship and emotional bonds shared between dogs and humans. Developed through a visual communication design approach, the project combines photography, illustration, editorial design and bookmaking to create a playful narrative celebrating friendship, loyalty and everyday moments of care.
Alongside the publication, visual elements from the book were reinterpreted and redesigned into a series of art cards, extending the project beyond the format of the book itself. The project also includes a collection of original illustrations featuring dogs as the main characters, further exploring themes of companionship, personality and emotional connection through drawing.
